AIME
The American Institute of Mechatronic Engineers (AIME) was established at California State University, Chico and is the first school to offer an ABET accredited Mechatronic Engineering degree. Mechatronics is a hybrid of mechanical and electrical engineering, with attention to control systems. Graduates of the Mechatronics program often work in fields of automation and robotics.​
